A founder member of PSN, Lourens currently heads the Corporate and Commercial Departments of the firm. His skills base and expertise include corporate structuring, BEE transactions, all legal aspects associated with business establishment, mergers and acquisitions and related transactions, dimensions of property development including town planning, and drafting and reviewing of agreements. He also has experience in constitutional and administrative law, municipal law, estate planning, and giving tax advice on selected topics.
Lourens has been practising as an attorney of the High Court since 1984 and as a conveyancer since 1991.
Apart from his practice, Lourens is also involved in advising civil organisations, presenting training seminars and workshops and has, for many years, lectured constitutional law to candidate attorneys as part of the attorneys’ admission course.
